North Light Art Classes - BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following booking and refund policy exists to ensure continuity of classes and covering of operational costs (teaching fees, resources, heating, lighting etc) which ultimately impact upon student fees.

Under this refund policy and under guidance of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may cancel your purchase of the course within the period of 14 calendar days (cancellation period) from the date on which the contract of purchase is concluded. If you choose to cancel within this period, you will receive a refund of the fee, paid within 30 days.

• BOOKING:

Please complete the online booking form and pay with your credit/debit card to reserve a place on your chosen dates.
You will receive confirmation of your booking once it has been completed. Payments are based on a per-term booking.

Places in the classes are offered on a first come, first served basis.

• EXISTING STUDENTS - EARLY BIRD/PRIORITY BOOKING:

If you are an existing student, each term you will be given a 1-week ‘early-bird’ opportunity to confirm your place (book and pay) using our online booking system, prior to booking then being opened up to the waiting list and public.

Booking in this priority week is advisable as we cannot guarantee your place after the early-bird window has closed.

Please see the schedule of dates for early-bird booking on the notice board in the North Light Art Studio.

Students who have not paid in advance will not be able to attend sessions.

• CANCELLATIONS:

- Student Cancellations:

Cancelled sessions (by the student) due to serious health or extenuating circumstances leading to the student not being able to attend, will ordinarily be treated as a credit of 50% of the weeks affected by the situation.

Student absence due to holidays, events or routine illnesses are not refundable.

- North Light Art School/Tutor Cancellations:

A £25 credit (per session) will be issued for sessions cancelled due to non-attendance of the tutor.
Closures due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. snow) will be replaced with a re-scheduled lesson where possible.

Credits may only be used for the following 2 terms, and will be written off after this point.

All fees/refunds are for Art Class fees only. Travel, accommodation, meals or any materials/equipment costs are not part of the booking and will not be reimbursed.
